Mary tries to use the intricate details seen in nature to then craft and mould what she sees into something that is manmade but still reflects the beauty. She has captured this in her lovely design of a butterfly, using a thick layer of silver plate, with carefully and individual inlay of mother of pearl as the colourful and delicate wings. We have been able to make these hairslides so that the silver does not tarnish. The hairslides comes with instructions in how to put your hair if you are a beginner.
