Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve just placed my order, when will I hear on delivery times, confirmation etc?

Your order is received though the worldpay system first as they securely process the credit card and name and address details, it may take a couple of hours for the order to be sent to us but you will receive a confirmation from Worldpay with a reference number as soon as you place your order. Once your order is received here you will be contacted by email to confirm that the order has been received. Please note that if you order goods at the weekend or outside normal UK working hours there may be a delay before you are contacted by us to confirm the order and when you will receive the goods.

When will I get my goods, how long does delivery take?

This really depends on what you have ordered, if the items are in stock then you will be informed by us that it will be dispatched either that day or the next day, if the item needs to be made (i.e. a ring) it could take up to a week to make such an order, with Gold rings in particular it takes 3 weeks to make before the ring can be dispatched. Please consult the ‘delivery’ section for more detailed information on delivery times.

Can I receive my jewellery any faster?

We offer federal express service that takes 2-3 days to deliver to most places in the world. This service is a premium service and can only be taken advantage of if the items are in stock at time of purchase. The service can still be used if the item is not immediately in stock and will then reduce delivery time on completion of the order. You can specify this service when you are shopping, it will ask you what shipping method you would like to use.

What do I do if my jewellery has not arrived?

Sometimes there may be a delay at customs in the USA or other countries so please allow another 3 days for the jewellery to arrive after when you expected it; there may also be delays at local sorting offices. If there is still no sign of the jewellery then please contact us and we will try and identify the problem. For those in the UK please contact us and we will try and locate the package and keep you informed. All packages sent by tracking device like UK special delivery or Fed Ex are traceable in transit but any other methods of postage i.e. normal swift air are not traceable in transit. Therefore we will have to complete the necessary documents and get the relevant postal service to instigate an investigation.

Are all the pieces of jewellery solid silver?

Yes, we only use 925 sterling silver, nickel free. The chains are also solid silver. We also make jewellery in a variety of golds which have the appropriate hallmarks to ensure their metal authenticity. Some items are also made in solid pewter. Each jewellery description will state what metal is used.

Do you make the jewellery?

Yes, we make many of the pieces but we also use crafts people in the England and Ireland, for instance all the pewter piece we sell are made by a fantastic group of people in Cornwall. Every piece is made to a very high standard and quality checked. All Lord of the rings TM are made by Badali Jewelry in America and The Movie Rings  collection is made by the Hansen family in New Zealand.

Can I send the jewellery back if I do not like it?

If you receive an item you are not happy with you must inform us straight away, by email, no longer than 7 days from receipt. We can refund back onto your credit card if that is what you wish to do but we will not refund you the price of postage. As we are a small business we cannot absorb the cost of the postage especially if it is overseas. You must send the jewellery back in the same condition as you received it as soon as you have informed us of the return. If you wish to exchange for a different item then that is also possible, contact us straight away and we will sort out the difference in price etc. Please make sure to contact us before you send us back any jewellery as we need to brief you on how to send the package in order to comply with customs if you are outside the UK.

What if the ring I have bought does not fit?

Please ensure when you are ordering that you measure your finger as accurately as possible by a reputable Jewellery store if you can. Inform us straight away if the ring does not fit. We will endeavour to resupply you with a ring that fits asap, this may be achieved by either stretching the ring or in some instances making another size smaller or larger. We will have to charge for any additional delivery and associated costs (manhours/materials). We deal with each request individually and will inform you of all further costs before we proceed. We will keep the costs to a minimum and will only work on actual costs to us.

Do you take on special commissions of Jewellery Pieces?

Sorry we do not take on special commissions of your own designs, it is always best to use a local jeweler for this.

I am looking for something specific that I cannot see on your site?

You can always email your request as we may have items that are not on the website yet, if we have something similar in stock we can email you a picture.

I like some of your pieces but don’t want to order yet, how late should I leave it?

The main bottleneck is Christmas time so if you want something for Christmas place your order as early as possible especially if you are outside the UK. The problem is the delays in postage of which we have no control over. If you want to order wedding bands etc. then order at least 2-3 months in advance in case there is a problem with the size etc. this is most important.
